You may not like to admit it, but you love brunch. It’s the real most important meal of the day, but everyone thinks it’s just reserved for Sundays. Forget about what day it is. You deserve a great brunch whenever you like. Lucky for you, I’ve done all the research and all you have to do is pick a place to go. Try one of these 10 top brunch spots in Philly to eat the only meal so good that it counts as a two-fer.
Founding Footsteps’ own founder Tim McAleer had his engagement party at Sabrina’s Callowhill St. location, but we promise, that’s not the only reason this place is on the list. Just order the stuffed french toast and you’ll agree, this place will be a Philly legend soon enough. With brunch specials constantly rotating in and out of availability — currently, the “Women in Government Menu” is being prepared — it’s worth it to go back again (and again… and again…)
When to go: Breakfast served all day, every day. Can’t go wrong here.
What to order: Stuffed Challah French Toast
One of the few places in Philly that is truly worth the wait every time. While their eggs aren’t actually green, they are delicious. Bonus points for two of their locations’ phone numbers ending in 3447 (EGGS). They’ve even got a location in Miami, so if you’re far from home, you can still get a taste of Philadelphia. Stop in to see the ever-changing list of specials.
When to go: Get there early, or you might have to wait.
What to order: Chicken & Waffles Benedict
This place is only a few months old (like us!), so we can relate. But we newbies are on a mission to prove that rookies can deliver quality performances day in and day out. Don’t believe us? Try having brunch here, then capping your Sunday off with a BYOB tour. We may be young, but we won’t disappoint.
When to go: Only open from 8a-3p Tuesday through Sunday.
What to order: the Uitsmijter
You might have tried their food at your office or at a wedding, but outside of catering, Day By Day makes amazing meals in-house too. They say their Friday brunch is “lunchier,” so it might be worth two trips.
When to go: Brunch served Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 9:30a-2:30p
What to order: Cinnamon Bun w/ Vanilla Icing & Banana Bread French Toast
After you eat, try one (or more) of their drinks. They’ve got a “constantly rotating” list of beers and with a 30% to go discount, you can take some for the road and drink them onboard one of our trolleys for an unforgettable day in the city.
When to go: Brunch served Saturday & Sunday from 9a-4p
What to order: The Crabby Dick
White Dog Cafe makes sure your guilty pleasure is as guilt-free as possible, serving local, sustainable farms’ ingredients. There is no shortage of great choices here, whether you’re in the mood for a breakfast-ier or lunch-ier brunch, they’ve got you covered.

Their unique menu combines Lebanese and French foods for a one-of-a-kind brunch. Here, you’ll find traditional meals from both Europe and the Middle East. They say it’ll “feel like Paris and taste like Beirut.”
When to go: Brunch served all day, every day
What to order: Croque Madame or Foul Moudamas
They serve brunch until closing time in the early afternoon every day they’re open, so this is a great place to go for a spontaneous date. No matter what time it is, if you’re hungry, they’ve got something for you.
When to go: Brunch served all day, Tuesday-Sunday
What to order: Nutty Monkey Crespelle
Amada offers brunch in an authentic Spanish setting. Not only should you and everyone you’re with order one of their awesome breakfasts, but tapas are a must too to split between the table.
When to go: Brunch served Saturday & Sunday from 11a-2:30p
What to order: Tapas to share and Huevos Flamencos
What could be simpler than this? Everything you need to know is in the name. The only decision you have to make is which one you want. Then douse it in candy. Or cookies. Or ice cream. Or cheese. Or crab cake. I’m not kidding, this place really exists.
When to go: Open every day except Monday, stop in anytime or get it delivered
What to order: Literally anything. Get creative with toppings!
